Route 56:
5th & 6th
grade Ministry
As our kids make the transition from elementary
school to middle school, we give them a road they can call their own.
Route 56 is designed specifically for 5th and 6th graders. Gifted leaders come
alongside these students as they move from childhood to adolescence, discussing
topics they relate to and affirming a God they can believe in. The Branch Student
Ministries recognizes the unique challenges that come at this point in their
lives. That’s why we’ve created a gathering place that emphasizes
God’s amazing journey and the importance of avoiding destructive obstacles.
Crazy games, friends and laughs can always be found on Route 56... see you there!
Fuel:
Middle School & High School Ministry
Go. Keep going. Go faster! Life for our middle school and high
school students
runs at a wild
pace in a constantly changing world. That’s why
we think keeping their spiritual tank full is so
important. Check out FUEL— a place where
friends are made and students connect to God.
We like things to be energetic but relaxed,
challenging yet encouraging, fun but sacred.
Our 7th and 8th graders meet Sunday mornings
in their own space, while high school students
are invited to serve in a number of ministries.
Every Sunday night The Branch’s middle and high
school students (7th-12th grades) gather for an
intentional evening of community, prayer, music,
worship, food and fun. During our large group
praise and worship, we give students the chance
to experience God’s truth being poured directly
into their lives. Next, we slow down a bit and let
students enjoy some time in a small group with
leaders that offer guidance and wisdom at a time
when life needs trusted navigation. So stop off
at FUEL on Sunday nights. Doors open at 5:00 p.m.

THIS
MONTH IN FUEL:

|
| What
in the world is Bow Chicka Wow Wow? |
| |
Here’s
what it’s not:
IT IS NOT another t-shirt wearing, jewelry-clad movement.
IT IS NOT another clever ad-slogan response to real-world
desires.
IT IS NOT another big-stadium rally about abstinence. |
| |
IT IS MORE than
no.
IT IS MORE than wait. |
Bow
Chicka Wow Wow is a new position on sex and
sexuality. This is a series of lessons and
conversations about sex. Not a how-to or how-not-to
series—that’s all been done.
This is a series
for students who realize that sexuality is
part of our makeup but are over the way our
culture, including the Christian culture,
talks about it.
This is a series
for students who realize that something’s
wrong, deep-down core wrong, with the way
we think, believe and act in regard to sex.
Bow Chicka Wow
Wow is for students who want something different—drastically
different. It’s for people who want
a revolution—a second sexual revolution—to
happen with them, their friends, their family,
their school, and their world.
We
believe that students need three things (not
only, but at least) regarding sex, relationships
and purity. Our teaching will revolve around
these three ideas:
|
|
1.
Wisdom-Listening to God’s design for
life and trusting it enough to obey.
2. Boundaries-Using God’s design to decide—before it’s
too late—how far is too far.
3. Rescue-A safe place to confess, ask questions, find correction, and
commit to trying again God’s way.
Bow
Chick Wow Wow takes place
every Sunday in May at FUEL.
FUEL is the gathering of The Branch’s
Middle School and High School students.
We meet every Sunday at 5: 00 pm at the Vista Ridge Campus.
