Home Information Sessions (HIS)

The Branch is embarking on a stewardship enrichment campaign that is coinciding with the launch of the new Vista Ridge Campus. This stewardship campaign is called "One to Grow On". A significant part of One to Grow On will be HIS (Home Information Sessions) meetings. For the most part, these meetings will be held as part of your regular cell group. There will also be additional groups formed to accomodate those not involved in Cell Groups.

What is a HIS Meeting?
These meetings to facilitate presentations regarding the One to Grow On stewardship enrichment campaign. The goal of these meetings is to emphasize to members and regular guests the purpose of the campaign and the vision of the church. The Branch's ability to implement its vision for the Kingdom of God can be greatly helped through the successful implementation of these HIS Meetings.

How many meetings are there?
There are four meetings over a six week period during the campaign. So, this will affect cell group meetings scheduled for the following weeks:

  • Week of September 23
  • Week of September 30
  • Week of October 14
  • Week of October 28

Will this take the place of our regular cell group meetings during those weeks?
Yes. Due to the importance of having as many people as possible attend these meetings, the leaders of the campaign determined that these meetings should occur at the same time as the regular cell group meetings.

What if I am not in a Cell Group?
We ask that every member of The Branch attend a meeting. If you are not in a regular Cell Group, you can register to attend one of the groups below.

What do I do?
Because of limited space, it is important for us to know who is attending which group. We have a list of all of our HIS Groups below. Groups are listed in two sections: SOUTH of George Bush and NORTH of George Bush. Pick a group that is close to you and fits your schedule. Click on the Registration Button for the area that you would like to attend and then select the group you will be attending. If you have not used any of the registration features of our website, you will need to click on "Create Account" once you enter the registration screen.

NOTE: Groups meet different days and times, but they ALL will meet the weeks outlined above. Some groups provide child care. Please select a group based on your needs.
