Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. (Proverbs 30:5)

A White Christmas came early this year! Well, at least for a little while. But it was just in time for the launch of our new series, Christmas Colors, this coming weekend! I hope you’ll be bringing a friend this weekend to The Branch. If you missed the message last weekend, check it out online. You’ll also have an opportunity to view the orientation video which we show every month to new members at The Branch. It’s a great way to get a little bit of a context about where we’ve been and where we are going as a church.

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. (Colossians 4:2)

LAST WEEKEND

What a blessing to see Rhema Voraritskul and Jamie Evans baptized into Christ!

I’ve received a number of comments from this past weekend’s message on marriage as our “Truthiness” series continues. If you missed “It Shouldn’t Be This Hard,” you can watch it online by going to the link at the bottom of the page or by visiting our website at www.thebranch.org (the podcast is also available).

This would be another great weekend to bring someone to The Branch for the very first time!

Front Yard Festivals

Number of Views: 61

On October 31, members of The Branch will be taking their traditional fall festival to their front yards for our first annual Front Yard Festivals. Of all the holidays celebrated in our culture, Halloween is one where people are encouraged to go to neighbors and knock on the door. Instead of heading across town for bad food and cheesy games (or cheesy food and bad games), members of The Branch are encouraged to get together with members of their small group and stay home. Turn on the lights, and welcome the neighbors: have your own Front Yard Festival!

The Lord our God is merciful and forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him. (Daniel 9:9)

THIS COMING WEEKEND

This coming weekend in our “Truthiness” series, we’ll be exploring the old adage “Forgive and Forget.” What’s the truth from the “truthiness” when it comes to trying to live by this counsel? And what do you do with the memories you can’t shake? I hope you’ll be at The Branch with friends in tow!
