When we gather for worship at The Branch, we aspire to celebrate the greatness of God in a variety of dynamic ways. As a church body, we engage in many aspects of worship including: prayer, praise, communion, serving, giving and teaching. We believe that our times together in worship on the weekend will serve to empower and equip us for living a life of worship throughout the week.
At The Branch, we have two locations, three venues and six services to choose from, and we encourage our members to establish themselves in one of those places. As we grow, we desire that our campuses will have the closeness and community of a neighborhood church, while still providing an experience that would be expected from a strong, established, regional church.
In all of our services, our goal is to create an atmosphere that helps people become aware of God’s presence in their lives. We’re conscious of cultural relevance with the songs that we sing as well as the use of media and technology. However, it is our goal to not DETRACT from the worship, or DISTRACT the worshipper. Our time of celebration worship is an opportunity to thank God for all He has done, and a time to be excited and uplifted by who He is and His presence with us today! Our desire is that everyone participates and actively engages in praise and worship, as we respond to God’s presence through anthem songs that are upbeat, encouraging and celebrate the One who we come together to glorify.
Worship is our response to the saving work of God through Jesus, and we realize that worship can be expressed in a variety of ways. We have designed our assemblies to create an atmosphere of openness and acceptance that helps people grow in their intimate relationship with God. We seek to create a vibrant, contemporary musical expression of our love for God through both instrumental and acappella environments. Each service brings the same message, and opportunities for expressing our love to God through prayer and praise, while each has a unique offering of musical style. At Vista Ridge, instrumental worship is available in all services. At the Farmers Branch campus, instrumental worship is available in the Family Life Center on the west side of the building, while acappella worship is available in the main auditorium on the east side of the building.
Another way that we worship and honor the Lord in our services is through the giving of tithes and offerings. As we bring our first-fruits back to God, we honor the Provider of all that we’ve been given, and give Him thanks for what He’s done in our lives.
At The Branch, we also feel that God’s call in regard to our gifts will reveal His glory in our life and the lives of those around us. We encourage people to not only worship through receiving from the weekend experience, but also through contributing to it. We invite YOU to join us as a servant-leader, contributing to the weekend experience at The Branch.
We have been saved by grace through faith in Him. How could we not respond in worship? We are excited to have you join us on the journey!
