Ministries : Students - 7th - 12th Grades

Welcome to The Branch Student Ministry!  Our purpose is to help students to live in an intimate relationship with God by loving God, loving others, and making disciples.  Feel free to stop by and check out any of our weekly programs or contact us with any questions.

Sunday mornings

We have two gatherings for students on Sunday mornings: 912* (pronounced: “nine one two") for high schoolers, and seventy8 for 7th and 8th graders during the 10:45am service.  912* and seventy8 are all about giving students a time and a place to hang out, pray together, and talk about God’s Word.

At the Farmers Branch campus, 912* meets upstairs and is lead by our Student Minister, Matt Moore.  Seventy8 also meets upstairs, and is lead by our Associate Student Minister, Kristen Brewer.

At the Vista Ridge campus, 912* meets in a facility located behind the main building, and is lead by our Student Minister, Ryan Rainey.  Seventy8 meets in the orange room, located past the office area, and is lead by our Associate Student Minister, Beka Hull.

Midweek

We also have a midweek gathering for students in the 7th -12th grade on Wednesday nights called D/Groups.

D/Groups are an opportunity for students to catch up during the week and explore the Bible in a small group style environment.

For students at the FB campus we have D/Groups that meet on Tuesday nights in Coppell at the Watten’s home (120 Sand Point Ct.), and on Wednesday nights in Farmers Branch at the Goodspeed’s home (12950 Epps Field Rd.).  Both groups meet from from 7:00-8:30 pm.

For students at the VR campus we have a D/Group that meets in The Colony at the Braugh’s home (3749 Cottonwood Springs).  This group meets from 7:00-8:00 pm.

October 15 - 17 (BSM:VR)

The Branch Student Ministry (BSM) at the Vista Ridge Campus will be sponsoring a family camp-out.  Families or just the kids who love to camp will be spending a weekend (Friday - Sunday) together at Tyler State Park (we will provide the transportation) learning about prayer, friendship, and God’s Word. We hope to achieve a deeper sense of community among our seventy8 kids and families after this event!  Join us!

The cost is $100 and scholarships are available after completion of an application.

We will meet at the VR campus on Friday at 6:00 pm and return on Sunday by noon (in time for those kids who came without parents to go home with their parents after church).  Participants will need to bring bedding (pillow, sleeping bag, blanket, and air mattress if desired).  We will be sleeping in a screened shelter so it could be a little chilly.  Be sure to bring comfortable clothes, your Bible, and a flashlight.  Showers are available but you will need to bring you own towels and toiletries.

Contact Ryan Rainey or Beka Hull with any questions or to register.
