Church as Community : Small Groups

Everybody needs good friends.

God designed us with the need for friends and to be a friend.  Friends are people who you know, respect and like and who know, respect and like you.

Friends:

  • Desire what is best for each other;
  • Share sympathy and empathy for each other;
  • Understand each other; and
  • Are honest with each other, even when its difficult to speak the truth.

Having friends is vital to our spiritual growth and personal well-being.  One of the main reasons we have created small groups at The Branch is to help people develop friendships that will help them to be their best and to live in an intimate relationship with God.

Small Groups

Small groups meet regularly and are a safe place to experience friendship, Bible study and prayer. Members of small groups are committed to:

  • caring for each other;
  • helping each other to grow spiritually;
  • learning how to love others; and
  • welcoming new people to the group who are looking for friendships and a closer relationship with God.

You are Invited to Check out a Group.

Whether you are checking out Christianity for the first time or you have been a believer for years, our small groups are places where you will find friendship and a safe place to experience personal spiritual growth. Check out our groups map to find a group near you.
