Executive  Ministry Staff

   Chris Seidman, Senior Minister Email
Chris has served in Ministry since 1991. He has served in places including, Gateway Church of Christ in Pensacola, FL, Richland Hills Church of Christ in the Ft Worth area and Southern Hills Church of Christ in Abilene. He has been the Senior Minister here at The Branch since January of 2001. He met his wife Tara during the time they were both attending Abilene Christian University and married her in 1992. They have 3 children, Skyler, Garrison & Cooper.
 Tim Ketchersid, Executive Minister and Associate Minister Farmers Branch Campus Email
Tim & Jeanne have been members of The Branch since August of 1991. They were married in 1981 and have three grown children. Since coming to The Branch they have served as volunteers in various ministries of the congregation including the children’s ministry, the worship ministry, the women’s ministry and the small groups ministry. Tim has served as both a Deacon and an Elder and is now serving on staff as the Executive Minister and the Campus Pastor for the Farmers Branch Campus. Jeanne served on staff as the children’s minister for several years and now works for BSRP as a sales assistant.

 Jason Burnett, Spiritual Formation Minister Email
Jason is responsible for leading the team that helps people form personal connections that will help them grow in their relationship with God.  This is done through developing and implementing spiritual formation processes that help people become assimilated and integrated into the life of the church.  Jason completed his Graduate Certificate in Conflict Resolution from ACU, and a Masters in Organizations and Strategy from UT Dallas. Jason and his wife, Laura, have been married since August 2002, and members at The Branch since December 2002. They have three daughters: Laura’s nieces Bonnie (16) and Elena (10), and Clara (born May 2009). 
 

James Asplund, Corporate Assemblies Director Email

James and Sarah came to The Branch in August of 2007 for the purpose of helping to launch the Vista Ridge Campus and set up a system to facilitate multi-site video and production.  They were married in 1998, and have three active and fun boys:  Jonathon, Ian, and Joshua (who is a navite Texan!).  Before coming to Dallas, James and Sarah served at a large multi-site church in Portland, Oregon where James had been on staff as a ministry leader for 10 years.  He is now responsible for overseeing every aspect of our weekend assemblies, incuding the worship, media, guest services and planning the flow of the assembly.

 

Tim Scott, Children and Student Ministry Director Email
Tim Scott and his wife, Stephanie, have been at The Branch since 1997 and have always been active in Children’s Ministry.  Tim joined The Branch full-time in 2009 as the Children’s Ministry Director and currently serves as the Family Department Director.  His responsibilites include overseeing all classes and programs for kids from birth through 12th grade across both campuses.  Tim brings a strong focus on strengthening families in the Lord and helping them grow closer together and closer to God.  Tim is also very involved in several organizations in the community and is currently serving his second term on the Farmers Branch City Council.  Tim and Stephanie have one beautiful daughter, Ellie.

 Mona Swofford, Operations Director Email
Dan & Mona have been members of The Branch since 1992. They were married in 1981 and have three children; Jeff, Doug and Matt. Since coming to The Branch they have served as volunteers in various ministries of the congregation including the children’s ministry, the worship ministry, the women’s ministry and the small groups ministry. Mona began working part time at The Branch in 1997 and went full-time in 2002. She is responsible for the Human Resource, Finance, Facility, and IT areas at The Branch. Dan has worked at Halliburton Energy Services since 1979.
 

Jaron Pitts, Creative Director Email
Jaron and his wife, Rebekah, have been a part of The Branch for most of their lives.  They have been married since 2005, and have two beautiful little girls, Makayla and Brynley.  Jaron joined the staff in 2001 as a Student Ministry Intern, and has grown to be an integral part of The Branch, serving in many different aspects of ministry.  These include video production, graphic design, sound and worship leader.  While his role is ever-changing and expanding, he currently directs all communications and creative media production at The Branch.
