Neighborhood Strategy
Developing relationships is the key to sharing the love and truth of the gospel. The law of love in true spirituality always focuses first on those who are physically near us. We believe the neighborhoods we live in are the places God has sovereignly chosen for us as our unique mission fields and hold the greatest promise for kingdom advancement. Each cell group serves as home base for the mission front in their neighborhood.
Spiritual Preparation
The cell group should engage in a variety of prayer-related activities that will lay the ground work for any neighborhood missional effort.
* Prayer Walks (Jesus sent them out in two's.)
* Cell Harp and Bowl (Seeking the presence of God always
serves as a catalyst to any move of God.)
* Net Fishing (Weekly targeted prayer in the cell for
neighbors and acquaintances)
Neighborhood Engagement
These strategic activities are proven ways to engage your neighbors. By utilizing our mapping software, we can send invitations to those who live in your area. This strategy quickly surfaces any who are spiritually interested and responsive to the prayers made on their behalf. Depending on how close group members live near each other, each member may want to conduct one of these activities at their own home as a way of engaging their specific neighborhood.
